I don't see why babies are so hard to draw.... I was using a reference from a drawing book for how to draw babies. They were excellent at explaining but I don't know if it set in or not.

Well, I actually finished this awhile back... and just didn't post it here. This is the finished piece from my last post.

I really need to get my butt back in gear this summer. I've been cleaning and cleaning everything and anything I can get my hands on! Why must procrastination with me take the form of cleaning?!

Other words, I'm hoping that this "art block" will go away and I can will myself into getting some more art done.

Yeah, currently just a crop of a WIP I'm doing for the Summer Improvement Project. It is an ideal for summer that gives us challenges that we have to do over a certain period of time.

With the time, I'm not quite sure if I'm over the 2 weeks or not..... o _ o;

Just thought I should update my blog. Trying to get out of my 'art' lazyiness.

Variations

This was done as a project for my Paint and Color Theory class. We had to use an image and create 6 other representations of it trying to make the viewer feel some sort of emotion. Also, some of the images could also representing a certain setting.

The emotions I tried to create were (form left to right):

Nostalgia

Sadness

Dusk

Rising Sun

Fear

Ethereal

All the manipulation were based of an original photo I took in front of the Gentleman's Club on Grant in Columbus, Ohio.

This was a quick concept background for my Experimental Animation final. I didn't end up using this or making any more. 

Done in PS in about an hour.

I think I might try to make more of these since my first year of college is done.

[I have mixed feeling for the end....]

It feels so weird to have time to do things for myself and not feel guilty for not working on an actually homework assignment.
