Inktober 2014

 All the sketches I posted for Inktober last October. I think it's about time I put these up.

Birds and Brushes

Decided to try out a new brush pack I got from a friend.

Birds were the outcome.

Oskar_Låt den rätte komma in

Decided to do a quick speed paint from the movie Låt den rätte komma in (Let the Right One In) before hitting the sack for the day.

Also, f you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend seeing the original Swedish version rather than the terrible American remake.

In the screenshot, it features the main characters: Eli and Oskar.

In the screenshot, Oskar is on the left and Eli is on the left.

For a quick paint, I decided to just focus on Oskar's head and how the colours in the foreground and background interact.

Hope you enjoy.

Quick study done in under 30 min.

Done in Photoshop, one layer.

Original Screenshot.

If you want to see a synopsis of the movie;

here is a link to the IMBD page.

Gotta Catch Em' All!

Hullo again, blogger.

Today, I decided to be a Pokemon trainer.

Thank you for your time.

Shedinja, would like to ask if you would please leave your soul.

He says he is getting hungry.

Thank you.

Till the next.

Doodle Doo

I've recently decided to use a different drawing technique: red pencil and ink.

Simple but I'm liking it.

Here's some doodles since I've been using it:

Right to Left: Cyrus, Kicks

Right to Left: Phanpy, Psyduck, Skiploom, Slowpoke,
Resetti, Timmy/Tommy

++++++++++

And last but not least, to finish this post off, a piece of artwork I did while in school

for my anthropology final.

asdfg (BBY GOT) BACK

asdfgadsasd;;

I've been in such a major art block for the last month and it was GOD awful.

All I could do was start something and then loose all inspiration and creative ability.

LIFE.

Well, the last few days, I've been able to actually draw something and be inspired.

It all started with Legend of Zelda fanart... (and Sealeo)

And then I evolved into drawing medical illustration in a very rough stage.

I'm am such a nerd for scientific stuff...

(disregard spelling mistakes in the medical terms)

Yep.

The ear.

Quite interesting.

I now have the areas memorized and understand how the structures of the ear work.

&& fossa.

My new favorite word.

Well, see ya' in the next.

Massive Mind Attack

I bet you're wondering what I mean by Massive Mind Attack? Well, it simply means my brain has been having the inability to imagine recently.

Finding inspiration is very hard and motivation is non-existent.

So very depressing...

So actually update my blog however, Here's two pictures I took on Lake Erie by Marblehead.

Better to update something than nothing. Those three months not updating? Euh..... Ignore that.

(&& No, they were not taken with Instagram.)

Insert Witty Title HERE.

Haven't posted in awhile. Been quite busy with finals.

With that, here's some random sketches that I've been doing.

(Ignore the notes I've written. These are, however, my notes.)

Procrastination Basics

This is what I do when watching Bioshock Infinite and procrastinating on homework.

What is wrong with me...

Who is this dashing boy with a "broken" neck?

Why, it is my OC Nicolae.

(Or Nico for short)

For the ASC Weeklies on March 1, we drew cats.

Here they be.

 Some are caricatures of different cartoon cat styles.

Bird Study_001

Bird study and some sketches from a 'How To Draw Birds' book.

I can never follow those books. Nope.
