Really just wanted to take my mind off homework for a bit so I bring you  a speed paint (about 20 mins) of Mr. Pricklepants from Toy Story 3.

Corresponding with my earlier concepts for my character Nico, here is a finished model/character sheet for him.

Some little things still need to be a little fixed like the arm in side view and just misc. others.

To start off, this was my first assignment in my Animation II class: Character Break Down.

After countless hours and a few revisions, I present my final project.

Dear Martha, I'd done a lot of work in that week.

So in the end of this project I've managed to learn Illustrator and become more efficient while working in it. I've also learned that Illustrator can be very temperamental if you try to use it like Photoshop. Euh.

Back unto the work, I really liked how it came out. I love the combination of flat colors with textures and gradients. Happy that someone have me the idea to at least try it out. c:

Secret Santa: Sgt. Major Kururu

This was done for a conjoined Secret Santa that the Animation Student Collective and the Illustration Student Collective organized. I did this traditionally/mixed media (Sharpies, paper, ink).

The name of the person I did this for is whited out because I do not know if they would want their name on my blog/internet.
